Southlake Kiwanis is Connected with Multiple Local Nonprofit Organizations
Southlake Kiwanis raises money and provides volunteers for service projects to support a long and impressive list of worthy charitable causes, sponsors Key Clubs in High Schools, and awards multiple scholarships in and around our community.
No other service organization in our area supports a broader range of children’s charities with less overhead.
With a passion for service, we are committed to positively impacting the lives of youth… one child at a time.
Community Storehouse
Community Storehouse focuses on providing basic needs, ensuring education and offering hope to the children of our community.
GRACE
Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE) is a Grapevine based relief agency which provides food, clothing, financial assistance to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency.
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army‘s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Each year Southlake Kiwanis serves as bell ringer volunteers in the Southlake community.
Christ’s Haven for Children Christ’s Haven for Children provides a warm, loving environment in which children in need of basic care can grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The ultimate goal is to provide love and support to families in need. The trauma-informed, family based model of care allows for children and teens to be confident as they heal from past trauma and envision a bright future.
The Eliminate Project In partnership with Unicef, Kiwanis International is helping to rid the world of the painful death to infants from Maternal/Neo-Natal Tetanus. Together, we eliminated MNT from 20 countries and have made significant strides in the remaining 16 countries.
Alliance for Children
The mission of Alliance for Children is to protect Tarrant County children from child abuse through teamed investigations, healing services and community education.
Communities in Schools (CIS)
CIS is ranked as the most effective dropout prevention organization in America. Its mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Save-A-Smile
Save a Smile provides restorative and preventive dental services to children in Tarrant County who would otherwise not receive treatment. This program managed by Cook Children’s, Tonya K. Fuqua, D.D.S and Communities in Schools of Tarrant County.
LeaderKids
LeaderKids is a partnership with the Fort Worth Independent School District. Participants are selected by the Intervention Specialists in the middle schools with the mission of developing leadership abilities in middle school students through community involvement.
YouthWorld
Youth World (Dallas, TX) helps children and teens achieve success in education, personal talents and goals. Impacting children in high crime, low income environment. Inspiring hope for their future and relieve family economic burden.
Spokes4Hope
Spokes4Hope‘s mission is to help brighten the lives of children who are going through a difficult time. Spokes4Hope works with the many Children Advocacy Centers across Texas that are dedicated to finding a more compassionate and effective way to bring services to children victimized by abuse.
